5/6M Coding afternoon

This afternoon 5/6M spent time learning about coding on a site called code.org. 

Everyone had a awesome time.

Canberra Excursion Newspaper Articles

Stage 3 students are busily preparing Newspaper articles about the Canberra Excursion. They have to complete set tasks, including conducting and recording interviews with students and staff and complete online Scootle activities in preparation for writing. Teachers are working with students to learn about the features of articles. Students will record their article into a template and they will be published here. So stay tuned....

Term 3 Global Connections

This term's HSIE unit is Global Connections. We are learning about the way that Australia is connected to other countries around the globe. These connections might include:

Trade

Travel

Communications

Sport

The environment

Students should pay attention to the news and discuss ways that Australia is interdependent with other companies.

We've had a fantastic term. Looking forward to a break before an exciting Term 3.
